Bude and Greater Area Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer membership organisation that exists to support and promote business development in and around Bude. It is linked with Cornwall Chamber, which is itself a member of the British Chambers of Commerce.

The aims of Bude and Greater Area Chamber are to:

• Represent the views of the local business community on issues of local and regional importance.
• Inform members of significant issues and opportunities that may affect or interest local businesses.
• Promote members’ businesses and Bude as a good place to do business.
• Encourage initiatives that benefit the local economy.

The Chamber currently does this through a number of members’ events held throughout the year, facilitating member-to-member discounts, representation on BEAM (Coastal Communities Team) and Bude-Stratton Neighbourhood Plan, involvement in Bude Christmas lights #lightupbude and running late night shopping on a Friday in early December each year.
