Tina Collins
Tina has a wealth of experience from running her own businesses as a freelancer, self-employed and in partnership with her husband, to working in both the public and private sectors. Having lived in Bude for over 20 years and owned businesses within the town, she is keen to support businesses within the local community and spread the word about what Bude has to offer in cooperation with all the other amazing groups working hard to develop the local area.
Ian Mason
Ian has been in practice for nearly 40 years, during which time he has amassed a breadth of experience in most areas of the law that are of “bread and butter” interest to SMEs. He also sits on the board of trustees of three charities. Ian’s wife is a local “maid” and, since they relocating to the area in 2009, Ian has become involved with the Chamber and the Steering Group for the Bude-Stratton Neighbourhood Plan. He is currently Director of Professional Law Services Ltd “Pro Law”, a legal consultancy in Bude.
Rachel Walden
Tidal Leadership Consultancy.
Rachel has had 30 years in business with different industries ranging from Sales, Service, Banking, Oil and Gas and Telecomms. Her experience is in coaching, leadership development and talent management, helping leaders realise their potential and create an inclusive environment in their businesses. She grew up in the Southwest (Devon and Cornwall) and had the privilege of living and working abroad. She returned to Bude in 2020 and is passionate about contributing to the community. She is currently a volunteer Enterprise Advisor – supporting the Careers Leaders at Bude Haven School to connect with local businesses and build employability skills.
Her other passion is surfing and also loving Bude Sea Pool.
Koren Pitcher
Koren has lived in Bude her whole life and works for the local legal consultancy, Pro-law. She has been assisting with admin tasks on behalf of the Secretary and Treasurer of the Chamber for a number of years now so understands the importance of having a local chamber in place. Koren ensures membership fees are paid and the members are included on the website, up until recently she was also the first point of contact for the Chamber.
Samantha Hirons
Samantha has spent her life either living in or visiting Bude and the surrounding areas, and it is one of her favourite places to be, which naturally makes her passionate about the community. She works as a legal secretary/pa at Professional Law Services Ltd (Pro-law), alongside other committee members Ian Mason and Koren Pitcher. She also runs the social media at Pro-law, and is excited to be joining the committee as social media coordinator.
